Alex Barnes is a Product Manager at Phantom, a self-custodial crypto wallet available for Solana, Ethereum and Polygon. In a short time, Phantom has become the fastest-growing crypto wallet in history and set a new UI/UX standard for web3 products. Through its multi-chain wallet, Phantom aims to be the entry point for mainstream consumers to interact with web3 apps. Alex leads the DeFi & NFTs team at Phantom, focused on providing users a beautifully organized home for their assets, empowering them to make the most of what they own and exposing users to the best of what web3 has to offer. Alex has worked as a Product Manager her entire career, getting her start at Vine (Twitter). But it wasn’t until 2020, that she married her product background with her passion for crypto and jumped into web3. Prior to joining Phantom, Alex worked as a Product Manager at Coinbase. Alex led the Marketplace team for Coinbase NFT, building out the transaction layer to support fixed price buy/list, auctions, offers, royalties and credit card payments.
