Ashley Rindsberg is founder and CEO of media metrics company Alitheum, a leading expert on media bias, and an investigative journalist. In 2021, Ashley published The Gray Lady Winked, a book that looks at how New York Times misreporting changes history, which was praised by Balaji Srinivasan as one of his five most recommended books and by Steven Pinker as "Subversive." Ashley started his career at Internet Archive under web pioneer Brewster Kahle. He worked as a deckhand on a sailing yacht in the Mediterranean before making his way to Tel Aviv, where he began reporting on everything from national security to street art. In 2010, Ashley became editorial director for a top 50 communications firm, where he shaped today's most influential media brands. As CEO of Alitheum, Ashley is pursuing a mission of giving users the power to assess the reliability of media reporting central to our lives.
