My name is Damaris Njambi Njoroge, and I currently hold the position of Director of Operations at the Grassroots Economics Foundation. I have always been passionate about community development and the empowerment of marginalized individuals. Working with the foundation has given me the opportunity to work towards my goals, as we aim to create sustainable, community-led economic systems. One way we achieve this is through the use of Community Inclusion Currencies (CICs). They are designed to work alongside national currencies, and promote local trade and economic growth. By using CICs, we aim to create a more equitable and sustainable economic system that benefits all members of the community. As Director of Operations, I work closely with our team to ensure that our programs are effective and reach as many people as possible. I am proud to be part of an organization that is committed to empowering communities and creating positive change.
