Ingo Rübe is the founder of KILT Protocol, an identity blockchain built on Polkadot that provides secure, practical identity solutions for enterprise and consumers. He is also CEO of BOTLabs GmbH, a blockchain R&D firm in Berlin, Germany and the initial developer of KILT. Ingo founded BOTLabs together with minority shareholder Hubert Burda Media, a publishing house for whom he served as CTO from 2012 to 2017. There he was an early proponent of open source platforms for enterprise and initiated the Thunder system built on Drupal, where he was subsequently a board member. He is also a founding member of the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA). Earlier Ingo worked as Project Director for the German publisher Axel Springer SE and he founded his first startup in 1995. Ingo holds a degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Berlin.
