Jenna is a serial entrepreneur, innovator and community builder. Over her nearly 8 year tenure in the cryptocurrency industry, she has built startups, directed trading funds, advised family offices and governments, and channeled deal-flow as an avid community builder. She currently serves at CoinFund as Head of Portfolio Growth, where she was brought in to reimagine the relationship VCs have with their portfolio companies post-investment. Founded in 2015, CoinFund is a cryptonative investment firm and RIA. The team specializes in portfolio management, token design, decentralized networks, research, trading, market structure, engineering, brand strategy, law and regulation. Jenna represents the firm's nearly 100 portfolio companies. In 2019 she co-founded Streambed, an app for minting NFTs of social media posts with Coindesk’s Michael Casey. Previously she served as Head of Partnerships at Bloq Inc., a venture studio and blockchain infrastructure company enabling organizations to interact with public blockchains. In 2016, Jenna helped found the Blockchain Research Institute, the first global think-tank focused on strategic applications of blockchain technology. The BRI raised $5M to conduct strategic research with large brands like P&G, Exxon Mobil, IBM, Accenture, Deloitte, and many others. Her first role in crypto was to lead Marketing & distribution for Don and Alex Tapscott’s best-selling book Blockchain Revolution. Jenna holds a BBA in Finance from Trent University, where she was on the Lightweight Women’s Varsity Rowing team. Since then, Jenna became an Ironman triathlete, and is a ranked golf player. She co-founded her first company when she was just 18.
