Joon Ian helped to found the Association of Cryptocurrency Journalists and Researchers (ACJR.network). He hosted a podcast called GMI Crypto Media last year, funded by a DAO. He has covered the cryptocurrency space since 2013, first at CoinDesk and then at Quartz. He also started the Consensus conference in 2015.
