Julian Gilliam, better known as LOGIK, is a leading artist and entrepreneur at the intersection of big tech, web3, and culture. With a background as a former D1 athlete and Creative Director at Google, LOGIK uses his platform to amplify Black and marginalized voices, especially in spaces where representation is limited. He has collaborated with remarkable brands such as the Chicago Bulls, Mastercard, and LifeWtr on NFT drops and was a featured speaker at Veecon 2022.
LOGIK is also the founder of Studio LOGIK, a Web 3 agency that helps clients explore the possibilities of the decentralized web. The agency has a range of clients, including The Sasha Group of Vayner Media, founded by Gary Vee. Through his work with Studio LOGIK, LOGIK is pushing the boundaries of what is possible with blockchain technology and helping others do the same.
One of LOGIK's most notable achievements is his sold-out NFT project, "The Plug." The project includes an implicit staking mechanic that rewards those who "HODL" his long-term vision, which includes offering tuition-free Japanese language instruction for the global Black creative community. He also created SUGOI, a three-day festival of immersive art, panel discussions, and music in Dumbo, Brooklyn, during NFT NYC 2022. LOGIK, originally from St. Louis, considers himself a global citizen.
