Rumi is a Partner and Board Member at Outlier Ventures, the leading Web3 accelerator, and previously led the venture arm of the CME Group where she began investing in blockchain in 2013. Rumi also spent many years as an executive at Goldman Sachs. She currently serves on the boards of the Girl Scouts of the USA, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Chamber of Digital Commerce. She graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and received her MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
