Ryosuke Ushida leads initiatives related to digital innovation in financial sector as the Chief FinTech Officer of the Financial Services Agency, Japan. He also serves as the Co-chair of Virtual Asset Task Force of the FATF. Prior to his current position, he has conducted a research on regulatory framework and governance mechanism in decentralized financial system as the Senior Fellow of Cyber SMART research center at Georgetown University from July 2019 to June 2021. He holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
