He also founded and chaired Social Media Week, which Adweek acquired in 2021. Toby has advised several companies, including Ever Scouts, Simon Data, and Grand. Before founding Crowdcentric Media, which he led as CEO for over ten years, Toby managed Online Creative Communications, a digital agency in London. Toby is a sought-after speaker and has given talks at various conferences worldwide, including SXSW, CES, Advertising Week, Cannes Lions and The Co-Creation Conference. The Next Web named him one of New York's 50 NYC Tech Entrepreneurs You Need to Know and in 2014 he co-curated the book On! The Future of Now, with proceeds supporting clean water projects in the developing world.
