Tori Samples is a Senior Product Manager at the Stellar Development Foundation. Prior to joining SDF, she served as Co-Founder and CTO of Leaf Global Fintech, a blockchain-based, digital wallet that provides cross-border financial services—no smartphone required. Initially designed for refugees and cross-border traders, Leaf operates in East Africa. Leaf was recently acquired by IDT Corporation (NYSE:IDT). Tori's background is in technology as a Data Architect. In addition to designing Leaf's technical system from the ground up, she had 15 years of personal experience working with resettled refugees in the United States prior to Leaf. Tori has an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
